Just as I Foresaw

Just as I predicted and mentioned to many of you a few years back. Northland/Rodney Area will be developed over the next few years with apartments and such of the like. I have looked at several design aspects over the past year and have not been overly impressed by their designs and furthermore their initial asking price which i believe is outrageous. Its an underdeveloped area that is not yet seeing the full property boom as in other inner city suburbs yet already sell for an identical price range.
There are many stunning sites available only 40 minutes north of Auckland yet are subject to price ranges more suited to foreign property investors. Less bought by locals in the past couple of years for a median price range

New Apartment Rules

The new design controls have been set in place to reduce the number of 'ugly' buildings going up and are required to adhere to new design and building consents. The whole project is to stop concrete buidings being erected with small tiny studio apartments no bigger than a prison cell.
